Flow Yoga is about linking the breath with the pose as we flow from pose to pose in a smooth, easy manner. Like Meditation in Motion. And on a deeper level, as we start to release our resistances and shed our layers of tension, a part of us begins to open up and flow with the present moment. Going with the flow of the moment, we become the Flow itself and a great sense of peace can be found.

Breathing is the heart of all of my classes. I encourage students to approach all postures, difficult and easy, in the same way: with a gentle smile and a deep breath, turning work into play. Students can expect to practice standing and seated postures, arm balances, backbends and inversions. Vinyasa ("synchronising breath with movement") is used to connect the postures, maintain heat, and explore the connection between breath, body and mind.

Stephanie began studying movement 10 years ago through her studies in theatre performance. With a foundation in Alexander Technique and Feldenkreis, she soon became intrigued by the therapeutic benefits and overall sense of joy that body awareness and movement can bring --- and dove headfirst into yoga. She received her yoga teacher training at OM Yoga Center in NYC with Cindy Lee and Jennifer Brilliant, and went on to teach in NYC, Maui, and San Francisco.
