We learn yoga asana in a restorative mode - exploring yoga as a complimentary healing modality for an array of injuries loosely termed RSI (repetitive stress injuries). In addition to learning yogic breath, balance and relaxation, we will build on four “anatomical” themes: length up the spine; openness in the shoulder girdle; length out the arms; and full, open, juicy joints (wrists, elbows and shoulders).
Havi Brooks is the creator of the Fluent Self system of learning,
teaching the practical applications of yoga practice and philosophy to
a wide variety of real life challenges, from body image to language
learning.
Leena is a yoga and meditation teacher based in Las Vegas. She is known for her open heart and generous spirit, her ability to draw inspiration from a vast range of disciplines and to lovingly and respectfully guide each person towards discovering their own inner truth.
Her classes cultivate inner harmony and a joyful spirit as she skillfully guides you through an energizing flow that aligns, opens, empowers and frees the mind and body to reveal its highest potential.
Rick Williams is an Osteopathic Therapist
trained in the arts of manual treatment at the Canadian College of
Osteopathy. He also has a degree in Aerospace Engineering with focuses
on biomechanics. With his love of the human potential and a practice in
yoga over twenty years, Rick has personal mission statement to find
ways to empower the individual in thier own health. To this end Rick
has been teaching Visceral Yoga classes that bring new awareness and
access to little understood structural aspect of the vital organs.
Kim has over 20 years of personal experience in overall fitness with yoga, weight lifting, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and golfing. In the past eight years, Kim has practiced different styles of yoga; Classical Hatha, Bikram, and Vinyasa.
Once smothered in a corporate existence as a CPA, Kim searched for personal satisfaction and joy. She found yoga and healthy lifestyle habits that calmed her mind and provided deeper awareness to pursue her heart?s desires. Her spirit soared and she began the journey to share her epiphany with others.
