Flow Yoga is about linking the breath with the pose as we flow from pose to pose in a smooth, easy manner. Like Meditation in Motion. And on a deeper level, as we start to release our resistances and shed our layers of tension, a part of us begins to open up and flow with the present moment. Going with the flow of the moment, we become the Flow itself and a great sense of peace can be found.
We are an informal group
sharing the practice of Ashtanga yoga, a vigorous form of yoga that
challenges the body, mind and spirit. Our
goal is to help foster the Ashtanga community in Ann Arbor by making
space available several times a week where we can practice together and
offer traditional “Mysore” style instruction – classes where students
proceed at their own pace and receive individualized attention and
feedback from the teacher. For more information see www.a2shtanga.com.
