Mind and Body Healing Resources is the first fully equipped Pilates studio in Modesto offering private and semi-private lessons. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment and we are located near Vintage Fair Mall at 2937 Veneman Avenue, Suite C265 of the Veneman Professional Park. Our goal is to provide a private, personalized fitness sanctuary for every “body”.

Our Mission
We at Mind Body Studio thrive to provide Pilates and Yoga instruction in a safe and healthy environment. Our instructors are certified professionals committed to excellence in guiding our clients to reach their individual wellness goals. As passionate facilitators, we support conscious change and harmony within oneself by integrating proper body alignment into functional everyday life. Our studio is dedicated to enhance and empower individuals of all fitness levels with the tools to develop better health of body and peace of mind.

Pilates
Pilates is a mind-body exercise that improves the way you look, feel, and perform. We work with individuals using a series of movements and exercises based on the method developed by Joseph Pilates. It is a holistic form of exercise and postural therapy that emphasizes the development of the deep abdominal muscles to control body movement and protect the back. It builds strength without bulk and engages muscles often neglected by specific sports or other workouts. Mat exercises as well as versatile equipment employing springs and pulleys gently increase muscle resistance adding a broad range of motion to effectively stretch, strengthen, and streamline your body. With a focus on core conditioning and patterned breathing, strength is built from the inside out while movement remains fluid.

Pilates is accessible, regardless of age, body type or fitness history. As movement therapy, it has been known to alleviate back pain, stabilize injured joints, rehabilitate repetitive strain injuries, and provide safe pre and postnatal fitness. It is recommended to participate in at least two classes per week and may take approximately 10 to 12 classes to feel results.

Yoga
Yoga is a 5,000 year-old system of methodologies that provide a complete philosophy of living and a science of self. A variety of yoga postures will be introduced with a unique response depending on each individual or group. Some people come to yoga for relief of physical pain, some as a form of exercise, and some as a way of life. Yoga encompasses all of these, but its main aim is to liberate the human being. The word yoga means to yoke or to unite. We are bringing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of the individual into harmony.

Policies
Everyone please sign-in before participating in a class.
Mat/yoga classes will be limited to 10 participants (walk-ins are accepted on a first come, first serve basis)
All classes are not refundable or transferable and have expiration dates.
Classes begin on time; please arrive promptly to avoid disruption of the class. If you should arrive late, please enter quietly.
No shoes, cell phones, pagers or glass water bottles in the studio.
Please bring your own yoga mat. Mats are provided for purchase.
