Rafael is the Director of Yoga Shala an Ashtanga based Yoga Studio.

Rafael Abrams first began the study of Ashtanga Yoga at Center for Yoga in Southfield. Since then he has been to Mysore to study with Guruji and Sharath at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. Rafael has also studied with Guruji in Boulder, CO while staying with his aunt Radha Garcia. Radha is the Director of Bikram's Yoga College of India in Boulder. Rafael has also studied with Manju Pattabhi Jois, son of? Guruji.

Rafael loves to share and teach this practice of spiritual, mental, and physical growth from his heart. Rafael has studied extensively in various spiritual traditions. Rafael aims to pass on these teachings with as much authenticity as possible.
